Microcrystalline cellulose powder (MCCP) manufactured by the company. MCCP is made from purified and partially depolymerised Alfa cellulose relatively free from both organic and inorganic contaminants. It is insoluble in water, dilute acids, common organic solvents and oils. Partially soluble with swelling in dilute alkali, fine, white, odourless, edible and metabolically inert powder. It has excellent water absorptive, swelling and dispersion properties which make it useful for food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations, particularly tablets and capsules. Grades:
